Embroidery Course: From Design to Canvas

Join us for an exciting embroidery course where participants will learn essential skills in embroidery design. This course covers everything from preparing your tools and materials to mastering key stitches—both basic and advanced—as well as photo transfer methods and mixed media techniques.

Throughout the course, you will create a stunning embroidered canvas. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced stitcher, everyone is welcome!

Course Outline:

Lesson 1:

• Photo transfer techniques for one or multiple small images

• Applying mixed media background details

• Learning 10 basic embroidery stitches

Lesson 2:

• Second step in preparing the image transfer

• Designing the layout of stitches on your canvas

• Developing your embroidered canvas with guidance from our Make & Do HK instructor

All materials are provided, ensuring you have everything you need to succeed. By the end of the course, participants will take home:

• 1 embroidered photo canvas

Agreement to Terms

By purchasing a ticket and attending the workshop, you agree to the following terms. While we take every reasonable precaution to ensure safety during the workshop, we cannot be held liable for any personal injury, loss, damages, or consequential loss arising from your participation in the event.

Refund Policy

All tickets for events and workshops are final and non-refundable.

If a Typhoon No. 8 or a Black Rainstorm Warning is issued, the workshop will be rescheduled. In cases where we must cancel or postpone the event due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund of your registration fee will be provided, processed within 20 days of cancellation.

Attendance Requirements

Workshops require a minimum of 4 attendees to proceed. If fewer than 4 people register, the workshop will be canceled, and a full refund will be issued.

If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person. Please inform us of the name change by contacting us at maker.workshop.booking@gmail.com.

Limited Availability

Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
